DESCRIPTION:

MBE’s SC1 cylinder heads are great for both naturally aspirated and power adder races. The intake port flows 470 cfm thanks in part to a 2.225 inch valve and 55 degree seats. The exhausts meanwhile, flow an equally impressive 300 cfm with 1.600 inch valves. And remember, MBE is the only cylinder head manufacturer that guarantees their advertised flow numbers with your money back if you don’t see the same results.

These are drag-race specific cylinder heads with a cross-sectional area on the intake ports sized to work best in 430 to 465 cubic inch small blocks. The combustion chambers can be cut with a power-adder friendly shape that reduces the chances of detonation, and they can be sized anywhere from 50 cc’s all the way down to 35 without affecting the head’s flow coefficient at all.
